Help me give my students a place to safely store and charge their Chromebooks. These stations will take less counter space and declutter our already very small classrooms.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our class is made up of inquisitive students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. At home, they speak many different languages, such as Vietnamese, Spanish, Tagalog, Punjabi, Arabic, and Mandarin. While each student brings their own unique perspective, they all share a common curiosity and a strong desire to learn about the world around them. We are requesting storage with charging stations for our Chromebooks. The charging stations will keep our Chromebooks charged and ready for use to supplement reading, writing, and math. The students use the Chromebooks to research animals, science topics, and biographies to help the students write narrative, informational, and opinion writing essays. These Chromebook Charging Stations will declutter and store safely my student Chromebooks. We have such limited space at our school site and with student numbers increasing these lockers will provide a more efficient way to store student Chromebooks. The lockers also lock and will provide safety as other people enter our classrooms after school.
