In my classroom, we are a family. We work together on a daily basis and celebrate each other's successes. We encourage each other during struggling times and we help each other understand hard concepts.
My students are full of energy and curiosity; eager to learn about everything!
They are full of love and compassion for their classmates. There a few students with special needs in my classroom. These students are lifted up, encouraged, and loved for who they are by their peers. My students are always eager to learn and to help each other learn.
My students are hard workers and always ready to learn new material. They enjoy hands-on activities, as well as exploring new ideas. My students are continuously finding new ways to explore new ideas and expand their thinking. I am proud of my students and want the best for them!
My Project
We use our iPads daily for iReady lessons, Accelerated Reader, and fun projects that involves technology. Currently the station we use that was bought from my personal funds is no longer effective for charging student iPads. Pieces are broken which makes it harder for students to plug in their device without help and have it fully charged.
With this new charging station, students would be able to independently plug and unplug their iPads and have fully charged iPads for the day.
Being able to have the whole class have fully charged iPads daily would increase our on task learning. Unfortunately, with our current charging station, students are not able to charge all at once which takes away from our learning time. This project would benefit my students greatly!
