This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager to read, write and do math while at school. They also enjoy continuing their studies while at home. Unfortunately the typical wear and tear of charging cords can hinder their ability to access learning using an IPAD or Chromebook.
With new charging cables, the students will be able to continue pursuing their academic goals while at home.
It is really important that we keep the students connected to the internet through their devices as we have various different academic programs online for the students to utilize. In New York City, the students no longer have snow days. Instead learning goes virtual on snow days. Something as simple as having a working charging cable can help the students continue to participate in class on days of virtual learning.
