Hardworking. Dedicated. Adaptable. Ambitious. Eager. Resourceful. Responsible. Persistent. Diligent. Adventurous. Collaborative. Creative. These are all words that I would use to describe my students.
I teach 170 of the most captivating, diverse students you can possibly imagine, students of all levels, from special needs to gifted and talented, with a myriad of ethnic and financial backgrounds.
These young people spark a Marie Kondo level of joy in my life that I just cannot explain with simple words. I want nothing more than to teach them the most engaging Texas history lessons possible with the resources that they deserve.
My Project
My students have been very lucky in the sense that we have been able to get four Chromebooks for our classroom from donors, just like you. In my school, where we have to share a handful of Chromebook carts, having four Chromebooks dedicated to our classroom is a huge deal.
Now that we have these valuable assets in our classroom, we need somewhere to safely store and charge them so that students for years to come are able to have access to them.
I want to make sure that the investment that donors have made to my students is safe and secure. With a tech tub, I will be able to do that while charging the devices for the next day. This will ensure that my students are able to use them for technology-driven lessons that will keep them engaged and prepare them for the future.
