My Students

The students in our room are enrolled at an elementary school in Reno, Nevada. The culture of our school is special, and students maintain a high level of academic achievement, gain ample opportunities to work with the arts and have built a pretty amazing culture over the last 50 years.

In our room, students work hard and strive to be on a path to college, career and civic readiness.

All students enjoy working with challenging and complex materials that ensure academic and social success.

My Project

Help us as we fully embrace Nevada's computer science standards and our use of iPads to enhance college, career and civic ready outcomes. A "store and charge" station as well as power chords would ensure that the iPads, Kanos, and Spheros we have remain in good repair for years to come.

Through a grant, students now have Kanos, Spheros and iPads in the classroom.

Your donation would increase the likelihood that the these devices are always ready for use, fully charged, and easily accessible.

The students have already been using the iPads, Kanos and Spheros and are excited to use them. We'll be blending many Nevada Academic Content Standards with them and this project will simply enhance the experience.
