Charging Into a New School Year!

Help me give my students a charge/print station. My students need a place to charge their tech which they will use to participate and a printer to complete individual projects.

My Project

My students are the reason I come ready to go 1000% every day to school. They never ask for extras that they may need to help them with their schoolwork, so every time I ask for help from others for them, I never hold back. When students know they don't have to worry about receiving help, they excel and become stronger learners.

Each year is different, each need is discovered after failure, and every student deserves to have the tools to feel successful.

Each day, students are constantly told to put their cell phones away so that they are involved in the classroom. I encourage my students to use these tools to participate in whole-class discussions and quick assessment strategies; however, many students forget to charge their devices or cannot open certain applications because of low charge. With a charging station in the classroom ready for them to use, more students can participate without fear. Keeping students engaged in their learning (even through electronic devices) helps keep the material they've learned more relevant and motivates them to maintain their own academic paths.

A teacher-based site called "TeachersPayTeachers" is one of the best online resources teachers use to help incorporate new ideas for the ever-changing need to keep learning interesting and relevant. Having use of these resources is a game-changer for teachers and ensures that ideas for course materials stays fresh.

Students will always need access to printing for their assignments and when the library is closed or a student cannot print at home, they come to their teachers. The requested printer will replace a personal printer I allowed students to use that stopped working and is no longer under warranty for repair.

I will do whatever I can to give this to every student, with your help.
