This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are lucky enough to have one-to-one student devices this year! Last year, our classroom was a mess of cords and power strips and tablets that fell off ledges. There were times we weren't able to charge every device overnight and had to scramble to charge the remaining tablets when we arrived in the morning. We're hoping to fund a charging cart this year.
With a charging cart for our tablets, all students will have equitable access to their devices throughout the day.
We'll be able to navigate the room more easily without worrying about tripping, unplugging devices, or cracking screens.
In the 2020s, we learn on paper and on screens, but our classroom infrastructure hasn't kept up. With your help we can be the third grade of the future!
