My Students

My students are ages 7-8. They are excited about learning! We live in a rural community and many students come from poverty-stricken homes. The classroom is a diverse learning community. Some students are considered above-grade level, while some receive special services for speech and learning disabilities.

My Project

The pandemic has hit us hard. We have not returned to school since Christmas break. I've had to pass out work packets for students to complete at home. We are hoping to return to school the first of February.

We are receiving Chromebooks for every student.

Second graders will use their Chromebooks to facilitate learning at school on a daily basis. The charging cart I have requested will help us with both storage and charging. The cart will ensure that all Chromebook devices will be charged and ready for instruction, assessment, and supplemental programs.
