My students reside in a low socioeconomic community that was negatively impacted and educationally disadvantaged during Covid. Teachers were separated from their students during this time and education took a hit. Our district has since been blessed with the addition of Chromebooks to bridge any future learning gaps that may arise. What we are lacking, however, is the ability to be able to facilitate enough charging ports for the devices to remain operable, as well as headphones to personalize each student's experience with their learning programs.
The funding of my project will allow a central class charging station and a pair of headphones for each student to ensure they have all the tools to perform their very best and strengthen their educational experience.
