My 21 kiddos are eager and enthusiastic little learners! They have such curious working minds and want to explore everything around them. These children come to first grade with various abilities in reading, math, and writing. My greatest challenge is finding a way to meet their individual learning needs while supporting them on their journey.
So much growth happens in first grade!
I'm amazed at how much these kiddos learn and develop over the course of a year, and they are too. By creating a fun and welcoming learning environment, my hope is that these kiddos have an ever-lasting love of learning!
My Project
In today's classrooms, technology can be highly motivating, but can also provide an avenue for detailed data collection, self-paced learning, and intervention support. Last year, my classroom transitioned into a Blended Learning environment through the use of iPads and traditional classroom instruction. The amount of progress my students made over the year was amazing!
As we begin the new school year, I would love to have more resources available for my class!
Having 2 additional iPads ensures a successful learning experience for more children. I love the data I am able to collect with our online learning. I use this data to determine areas of strengths and weakness, tailor small group instruction, and progress monitor.
We are fortunate to have access to technology, but now we need a safe place to charge our devices! Having a charging station guarantees all of our devices will be safely charged and ready to go everyday. No one will miss out because of a dead battery!
