This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 4th-grade students are ready to learn but they need a charged-up Chromebook. They are very good at taking turns when it comes to using the 12 charging portals we have in our classroom but there are not enough.
Having another 12-portal charging station will keep things flowing without interruption.
Our students are not allowed to take their Chrome Books home so it can be difficult to have all their technology charged and ready for the day. We use the Chromebooks first thing in the morning, during Centers, and for research projects so it is very important for them to have ready technology. This will aid in the many interruptions to stop working and sit in various parts of the classroom to charge their Chromebooks.
