This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I am a music teacher in a high-needs area of Washington state. I teach 570+ students, 31 % of which are migrant.

We began our community-wide journey towards character education last year. It has been so successful that I want to supplement and encourage our student body to go the next step and demonstrate character traits through the catchy medium of drama and song.

This musical, "Go Fish," would provide the text/lyrics/music to learn exemplary behaviors in the context of our school/community environment by using catchy, upbeat techniques to bring home the message.

Your contribution would enable students to continue and move ahead with producing their own presentation of character traits, through song and drama, to their schoolmates.
