This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone in advance for taking the time to look at my page and being willing to make donations for my classroom. This is my first year teaching and I am super thrilled to be able to build relationships and instill a love for learning! We are a Title I school meaning the majority of our students come from low-income homes. I would like to provide the many amazing resources needed for my students to be successful this year!

My Project

With the addition of chapter books in our classroom library, it will enhance the print-rich classroom experience that I strive to create every day. Our classroom library allows my students to read independently in peace and comfort. Throughout the school year, we have added books that interest my students as well as books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade-level. Just right books that interest my students will allow them to not only grow in reading, but will also enrich and bring so much joy to our new addition of chapter books into our classroom library!
