My Students

I teach a wonderful group of second graders. They love to read, learn, and explore. My students like to spend their days reading books, working in math and science journals, playing games, learning about topics like animals and famous people, and, of course, exploring the playground. We have so much fun in our class. I can honestly say that I learn something from my students each day.

They are creative and love to learn. My students see the world in new and exciting ways, and they help me do the same.

My Project

My students need some new chapter books to read to be able to have book studies in our classroom. We would love to have sets of chapter books so we can have books clubs with our small groups. My students love to read and have really been enjoying chapter books. I would love to have chapter books for them to read and discuss in their small groups.

You can never have too many books!

I believe in giving children a plethora of books to choose from. I also believe in opening their world to new books and new authors. They will enjoy these books, because they are fun and exciting. These books are all examples of great literature, and they will allow my students to truly enjoying reading.
