My third graders would benefit from having three iPads. With only four computers, we need iPads to increase engagement and excitement! We will use them to take Accelerated Reader test, engage in interactive lessons, and centers.
My third grade students come from many backgrounds and all share a love for learning.
Some students do not have computers or tablets at home, so I want to give them the opportunity to experience the wonderful world of technology.
When my students use my own iPad, their eyes light up with the most focused and ready to learn look! We are greatly appreciative of all donations! These students deserve the world and through technology, we can help them to become 21st century learners.
My Project
My students will use the iPads across the curriculum. In math, I will conduct small group lessons, in which they can respond and interactive with me. Students will also take Accelerated Reader tests when they finish reading a book (to test their comprehension). They will play interactive games reviewing the common core standards that were taught. Also, they will learn to research and use skills that they need to become a 21st century learner.
This project will make a difference within my classroom because the students will have a chance to learn using their favorite thing, an iPad.
The students who do not have these at home will be able to experience a whole new way of learning! Using the iPads will increase excitement and engagement within the classroom.
