My Project

Through Breathe for Change’s comprehensive training, I will become equipped to teach inclusive and trauma-informed yoga classes to my campus, as well as design and facilitate wellness and social-emotional learning practices, workshops and professional development programs for my school and district. Upon completion of this training, I will receive the B4C Social-Emotional Learning Facilitator (SEL*F) Certification and 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification (CYT-200), recognized by Yoga Alliance, the international yoga teacher certifying body.

This professional development will help me build community with my students and teach them to heal their own trauma through movement and mindfulness.
