it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hello everyone! My name is Mrs. Estevez and this is my first year officially being a teacher. Since this is my first year teaching, I do not have anything to get things up and running for these amazing group of children. My students are hard working, bright, and enthusiastic to learn. I want to expose them to as much as I possibly can in the 8 hours they are in my classroom. Please help us obtain the necessary materials for our class year to be success. Thank you in advance!
My Project
My students are not provided the same opportunities that most students that are in our area. All of my students come from low-income households with minimal support from home. The books I am requesting will help my students build critical reading skills that they did not get the chance to develop due to at home learning from the previous year. The privacy dividers and headphones will help them maintain focus as they take imperative assessments and do classwork on their computers. This will be the first of possibly many projects and we appreciate any help we can get.
