My Students

One thing that I can actually tell about my students is their appreciation of what they have, specifically in their own environment, and how they execute ways to preserve and conserve it. They are from Montana and I can see that they have a great connection with their land and everything in it. Aside from their relationship with other people, they value their relationship with their pets and the natural environment where they live.

With the goal to protect the environment, my students are very excited and willing to contribute their time, efforts, and energy to make a change.

With this goal, I am encouraged to teach about conservation, ecology and how to use technology to map, monitor, and conserve the natural ecosystem.

My Project

Change is coming and change starts with us. Humans are the major contributor of change in the environment, specifically negative change. As a teacher, It is my responsibility to teach my students to contribute positive changes in the community and the environment.

With this new digital camera, we can start a Conservation Ecology Club wherein I can teach my students to map, monitor, and conserve different species of plants and animals in a particular ecosystem or in our community.

This club will serve as an avenue for the students to be critical of what is happening to their environment, value and appreciate what they have, and provide solutions to arising problems in the environment.
