Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my class are identified as gifted and talented. They require lessons and activities that are advanced for their age group. Often, due to a lack of training or support, classroom teachers are left giving these students extra assignments and work to keep them 'busy'. With these games, I will keep my gifted students engaged in meaningful learning experiences. All the games and activities are embedded with skills that are necessary to help them in the classroom and beyond. Incorporating gamificiation into learning can make learning motivational and fun, at the same time teaching communication, critical thinking, logical reasoning and problem-solving.
