it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
If my project is fully funded, I will use the Surface Pro to transform instruction in my Algebra 2, Statistics, and AP Statistics classes by integrating technology that supports interactive, student-centered learning. With the Surface Pro connected to our Promethean Board, I can model problem solving in real time, annotate over graphs, charts, and digital worksheets, and seamlessly transition between lesson slides, videos, and data analysis tools. This setup will also allow me to record lessons with voice and digital ink for students to review later—an essential support for English Language Learners (ELLs) and students who need more time to process academic language or content.
Additionally, the flexibility of the Surface Pro allows me to differentiate instruction by quickly pulling up enrichment tasks, reteach materials, or visual aids based on student needs.
I can move around the classroom while still interacting with and controlling the board, making it easier to provide targeted support and keep students engaged. With this technology, all learners, regardless of language proficiency or math background, will have better access to high-quality, visual, and interactive instruction.
