My Students
My physics students are curious and interested in our world. They are an incredibly diverse group from around the world. Many speak other languages, yet all come together to learn. Regardless of their culture, all families want their children to learn everything they can and prepare for a successful future.
Like most students today, they infuse technology into all of their activities.
Having access every day helps them learn about physics. Science classes are great for allowing all students to integrate technology into learning concepts.
My Project
Chalkboards are dusty and messy. The classroom and lab I am in has nice big chalkboards but the chalk dust is really bad for me and students, as well as the Smart board, Chromebooks and other equipment.
Science requires students to present and explain their data.
Dry erase boards are better for the people and equipment in the classroom. Help us convert our chalkboards to dry erase boards. The IdeaPaint is a professional grade conversion solution that will allow us to do this. This primer allows the surface to be prepped without sanding. The rollers and drop cloths will allow us to prep quickly without any spare messes. The drop cloths are also useful for our egg drop and preventing big messes.
