it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are always eager and ready to learn! We do a lot of collaborative work and sit in table teams. This year, however, our class size grew quite a bit and I found myself short on chairs.
We only need a few more chairs to have a complete classroom set!
Last year, I was graciously gifted beautiful collaborative tables through DonorsChoose. I had to scour the school to find chairs the right height for our new tables. Once our class size grew, I did not have enough and was using cracked, broken chairs. Earlier this year, we received quite a few new chairs from previous DonorsChoose projects, but not quite enough for our entire room. We would love to have a new chair for every student!
