Chairs for Comfort and Confidence

My students need new classroom chairs. These chairs will provide confidence and comfort throughout the school day.

My Students

My students live in a rural part of Central Louisiana. Students in this community are low-to-middle income, however realize at such a young age that an education is absolutely necessary to make it in our world today. Students range from ages 10-12, such a good age range to instill the importance of lifelong learning.

The students sit in chairs that are extremely old and uncomfortable.

New chairs would allow students to feel more comfortable and confident during learning time. This would also benefit the overall appearance of the classroom, thus the learning environment would be much more conducive for successful and meaningful learning.

My Project

New classroom chairs will benefit students confidence and comfort during the learning process. Students will be able to enjoy working with peers during group activities that require them to gather in groups to be successful. By providing my students with comfortable chairs they will experience a lifetime of learning, thus they will less likely to be distracted by the uncomfortable chairs.

Students will be more confident as they enter the classroom.

New chairs will provide an environment that is conducive to learning. The appearance of new chairs will give the classroom an overall new look, thus students will feel confident to take on the day!
