My Project

Our classroom is a full day special education program for students in K4-1st grade. Our students require significant support and materials to be successful throughout the school day.

Donations to our project will help provide our students with flexible seating and transportation support outside of the classroom.

We are requesting two types of chairs; a rocking chair and a swivel stool. These chairs will provide our students with sensory processing support by giving them an opportunity to rock and to swivel freely in their chair. We do have each of these items in our classroom and we are asking for another set because we have seen such success with them. We are also asking for a stroller and a wagon to transport some of our students to the bus, bathroom, on field trips and taking walks for sensory breaks.
