This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students need more flexible seating! We have worn out or broken the flexible seating we have been using for the past 7 years! We need more sturdy materials to keep us learning and also give us options in our seats. Picking where we sit and what we sit in helps us remain focused throughout the day and helps us have choice and ownership of our learning. When students have high-quality materials their eyes light up and they get excited. Help me bring more excitement to my room with new seating!
