Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I noticed that my ELL students love reading and completing assignments throughout the classroom. They will lay on the carpet, sit on crates, stools, or at their desk. Learning in my class takes place in different areas of the classroom that the EL scholars choose. We are asking for special seating on specific assignments when we share our reading and writing. I've seen my students put things together to have special seating. So far this year, my ELs are working so hard in class. Having a desk chair and a stand for our laptop will help the kids when presenting their work.

With this new comfy chair to relax and be able to share with the class, my students can also practice their English Language.

Comfortable seating will give more opportunities for students to speak and share what they have read or written. It will also relax scholars and help them be able to use their language when speaking. Thank you for taking the time to read this and supporting our new classroom.
