This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Let's just say our classroom started the year with a full set of chair pockets. Since then, a lot of them have broken. The material of the chair pockets was not great and could not withstand the movement of an average of 7–8-year-old. Many of them are ripped. I tried sewing some, and more just kept ripping. Hopefully, these new chair pockets will be more durable. The extra ones are just in case the student's chair pocket breaks.

Students desks are small and only have enough space for their reading materials.

The chair pockets are used to store their math materials :). Additionally, these book bins will be used to store additional student supplies and activities.
