Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This will my second year teaching DLI students and I loved last year. One of the challenges that I had last year was organization. We have about 60 kids divided by two classes. These CHAIR POCKETS will help my students be more proactive in getting ready for class and keeping their stuff stored in a safe place close to them. I loved my students last year and I am looking forward to meeting my new students and help them have a wonderful experience in first grade anticipating and thinking of the distractions that might occur on the way.
I am also asking for supplies like pencils, markers, and magnetic sentence starter cards.
This supplies will facilitate and make teaching a lot easier this year. I also loved using big posts to create anchor charts that helped my students visualize things we were learning.
