My project needs 25 chair pockets for storing text materials and reading books for my students.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Zhang's classroom raised $276

Dear donors: Thanks for your interest in supporting public schools. I am currently teaching a first grade ELL(English Language Learner) class in Brooklyn. All of my students are from low income families, whose parents are struggling to make their ends meet on a daily basis. These students are showing strong desire for learning.
There are 5 large tables shared by more than 20 students in the class. There is no room for each individual student to store his/her text books, reading books and other educational supplies on top of the tables. As a result, it takes learning and instructional time away from the students to properly store and use these materials around the room. It would be great if each student can have a personal chair pocket to store their learning materials. These pockets are simple, durable and convenient for the 1st graders to manage and handle. They can be cleaned and used again for a few years. Thanks again for your time and support.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
