I teach in a high poverty school district in the state of Oklahoma.

I focus as much energy on teaching my students life skills as I do teaching them academically. I believe kindergarten sets the foundation for successfully having these life skills. Part of preparing my students to be successful is teaching them how to be organized. In a classroom where I can have up to 30 kindergarten students at one time, that can be a challenge.

My Project

Providing students with an organized and structured classroom creates a successful learning environment for all types of children. The chair pocket organizers will allow students to increase their time on task because all their supplies will be at their fingertips.

Chair Pocket Organizers will help my students keep their materials organized and at their seat, so they will not be wandering around the classroom.

They will be able to increase their time on task by allowing them to stay focused and organized. The chair pocket organizers will not only help my class this year, but my future students as well. They are durable and washable. Thank you for considering my project.
