My Project

I have a large group of wonderful first grade students, with another large group coming up next year. One thing we have struggled with is having a place to neatly store everything on a daily basis. Our desks become over filled and super messy, the more we have to keep up with throughout the year (textbooks, folders, crayon boxes, etc...).

I would like to combat this problem with the easy fix of using seat sacks on the back of each students chair.

This sack would allow students to store their folders, crayons, and a leveled reader on their chair and out of their desk. This would eliminate some of the messiness inside the desk and allow more room for their math textbook and math tool kit. We would be able to keep clean desks year round, but easily access things from our chair when we need it.
