My Project
I teach and every morning we have Community circle aka "Family Talk Time" and last week I asked my students to please take off their hoods and big coats.
A student said, "they are comfortable, why can't we wear them?" and I explained that it sends a message of not caring or not wanting to be here or that they looked like they weren't comfortable.
He said, "well everything is hard, the floors are hard, our desk are hard, and our chairs are hard."
They said seat cushions would be so nice to have, and they would feel more at home!
