My Project

How will the specific items you’re requesting make a difference in their learning?

The hands-on STEM kits, robotics, 3D printing tools, and creative building materials will provide students with opportunities to engage in problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaborative learning.

These resources will allow students to explore real-world applications of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) while fostering creativity, perseverance, and teamwork. By incorporating these tools into our media center, we will create an interactive learning environment that inspires innovation and prepares students for future careers in STEM fields.

What are your goals for this project?

Our primary goal is to transform the CES media center into a dynamic Makerspace that nurtures curiosity, innovation, and STEM learning. This space will serve as a hub where students can engage in hands-on exploration, apply engineering and design concepts, and develop essential 21st-century skills such as collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. Additionally, the Makerspace will support our school’s mission to become a STEM-certified institution by providing students with authentic, inquiry-based learning experiences.

What makes your students special?

The students at (CES) are creative, inquisitive, and eager to explore new ways of learning. They thrive when given opportunities to engage in hands-on activities that allow them to think outside the box and bring their ideas to life. Many of our students come from diverse backgrounds and may not have access to STEM resources outside of school, making this Makerspace an invaluable opportunity to ignite their passion for innovation.
