This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in a Title 1 school, where most of my students come from low income households. Sometimes, they aren't celebrated for their accomplishments like they should be. Being the UIL Academic Coordinator and Spelling Bee Coordinator, I want to them to feel proud and confident about what they have accomplished.
Having materials to create certificates for them after competing in a competition, is a small way of making that happen.
Please help me give the students a boost of self confidence and a feeling of pride by being acknowledged for what they've been able to accomplish.
