My Project
These tools and glazes will provide items for Ceramics 1 and 2. This upcoming school year I will have triple the size of ceramic classes I have had in the past. This is so exciting for not only myself, but for the students who will be able to embrace each other as well as learn from one another.
Ceramics provides such a valuable creative experience for all students because they are learning techniques, experimenting with glazes, and using new tools that most haven't used before.
Each level of ceramics will have the opportunity to create hand-building creations, coil-building, and functional art.
Ceramics 2 will have the same opportunities but challenge their preexisting knowledge to create decorated and functional items, as well as learn the pottery wheel. Join me in helping these students gain the full experience with proper tools and glazes so they can embrace the creative process of Ceramics!
