Help me give my students learning activities and storage for their literacy centers. They will love the magnetic centers to build language skills, headphones for computer centers, and sand for a kinesthetic way to learn power words.
My Kindergarten students are five and six years old. They attend a public school in Louisiana. They come from various socioeconomic and academic backgrounds. We have students who have special needs in our class, and ELL students, as well as typical learners. Many of my students are from military families.
Even though all of my students are different in their needs and learning styles, they all love to learn, discover, create, play, and question.
Our students need to begin their educational career with excitement and a desire to come to school!
My Project
My students love to learn! Like most kindergarteners, they also love to play. My literacy centers are a fantastic combination of both learning and play to keep my students engaged.
Our centers have several items that need to be replenished to keep the fun in our learning.
Our headphones are worn out, and they need to be replaced, my sensory bins in my literacy centers need replacing which is how we will use the shoe storage rack (for storing centers), sand for kinesthetic learning, Melissa and Doug Magnetivity sets for language development and headphones for the computer center. The ink will be used to create more centers to use with our new curriculum.
