Centers For My Second Graders

My students need these fun and engaging centers to help reinforce concepts already taught. These centers will used over the year so old concepts stay in their mind. We need Can Do! Reading Games, Math Folder Games and Comprehension Skills Practice Cards.

My Students

Every morning, I greet my students at the door with a good morning and a smile and a hug. I want my students to love coming to our classroom and love learning.

They come from very different backgrounds as we are a small rural town.

For a lot of the students they are going to the same school that their parents went to. Our school is rich in history and pride. Some of my students come from very humble beginnings. Together we become a family and work together and learn and try to have as much as possible.

My Project

These centers will help my students reinforce skills taught, in a fun and engaging way. Who doesn't love a game and to have them play a game and learn at the same time its a win. These centers will be available and students will be able to choose which center they want, along with my picking centers to help them practice skills they need. I will be able to group the students based on need so that all students will be changed and learn all that they can.

Both math and reading are foundation skills that are key to a student's success therefore these centers are key to their success.
