Centers, Centers, Centers to Learn Letters and Words
Help me give my students a reading center some of my English language learners are learning their letters and this center would help them learn letters and letter sounds.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very important to me. I consider my students my children. I may have not given birth to them but they are all mine. These children come from low income homes and are unable to afford the simplest things such as pencils and notebooks. My classroom is all ENL students or English as a New Language students. They are learning the language for the first time and visuals are so important. The best way for them to learn is to have visuals around the classroom as well as technology that is hands on. They are beautiful children that need so much to learn to better enhance the understanding of the English language.
My Project
As a teacher we strive very hard to make our classroom a home and family to all our students. I know I am succeeding in my classroom with this. I am striving to make my classroom a wonderful learning environment. As a teacher of a diverse classroom my students come from all over the world for a better life. They come to learn the English language. It is hard for teachers to teach every single level in the classroom. That is why centers are so important. I teach my students to help each other with learning the language while I am working with a small group.
Students need centers especially when learning the language, they need to learn their letter and letters sound and you can help with that.
Please donate to our classroom to my English Language Learners so their learning of the English language is easier. They are amazing students but they do not have much. They do have a thrive to learn the English Language.
