My Project

Pre-math and alphabet skills are crucial in pre-K because they lay the foundation for future academic success by developing foundational skills in reading and math, which are essential for learning across all subjects. Early exposure to these concepts helps children build a strong understanding of numbers, letter recognition, and sound-letter relationships.

Confidence is crucial in pre-K, especially when learning math and the alphabet, because it encourages children to actively engage with new concepts, try new strategies, and persist through challenges.

The hands-on games and manipulatives like the dominoes, light-up numbers, magnetic numbers, etc. in this project will allow students to actively participate in activities to help them learn letters and numbers.
