My students are excited to be back in the classroom this year! They love to move around, read, laugh, and be silly with me. A large portion of my class are English Language Learners. They face many challenges, and it is my job to give them a safe environment for learning.
They are thoughtful, kind, creative, and full of questions.
They absolutely love challenges and projects that allow them to work as a group and think outside the box.
My Project
Students have been provided laptops in our classroom but no headphones. This can become very chaotic when trying to read or work on math with small groups. These headphones will allow for students to continue to use technology in the class and allow for me to work with small groups on reading and math. Listening to reading will also benefit my English Language Learners. The Teachers Pay Teachers gift card will help to give students opportunities to learn and grow with hands-on and engaging learning centers.
Students will become successful readers and mathematicians.
