My Students

I currently teach a great group of kindergartners that are curious and constant! We have a wonderful time as we move through our instructional day, and I want to continue to bring my students every educational opportunity possible. A majority of my students arrive daily coming from low socio-economic households. My classroom is their safe haven for consistency, direction and respect.

We work hard throughout our day.

My students are always on a mission of self-discovery in every aspect of our curriculum and strive to meet educational expectations above grade level.

My Project

Our district is in the process of taking on a new literacy program to benefit our students. The intent is to always move our children toward success and an opportunity to show annual yearly progress in meeting higher educational expectations.

At the start of any new and exciting implementation of curriculum, the discovery of what a classroom really needs comes to light.

The literacy program is rich with many new read-alouds in a whole group setting. With a big book easel my students will be able to gather as a group to easily view stories and share in turn and talks. These interactive skills will build a feeling of confidence and accomplishment.
