My Students
Center activities allow my kids to be up, moving, and learning all while having a blast! Please help us continue our learning by adding more variety to our centers, as well as aid in the organization of the daily activities we do in class.
I currently have 26 second graders that are full of energy.
We are currently displaced to a nearby church building after a tornado hit and heavily damaged much of our school building. We are a low income school with many of our students receiving free and reduced price lunches.
My Project
We have daily learning centers that provide both math and reading reinforcement in a fun hands-on environment. These activities will help supplement both our reading and math instruction through the use of technology (smart board and computer games), partner activities (timers for reading and math practice), and teacher organization.
These activities will help my kids enjoy their daily assignments more than just the good-ole worksheet.
They will be able to move around the room, use technology, and gain social skills needed for the bright future ahead.
