Center Fun

Help me give my students ways to help them to learn in small groups and collaboratively. The seating will help with the reading center and the puzzles, light up screens and ice cream cart will work for groups.

My Students

I have a classroom of 26 kindergarten students. They are great students. I have one student who is battling Leukemia right now. The other students have been very good about not coming to school if they feel even a little sick. He wears a mask, and there are several who wear masks too. They are all kind to each other.

These students are friends with each other and work together well in small groups.

They play at recess and work well for parent volunteers. They are a small community and include each other in all that they do.

My Project

Students need to learn how to interact with each other in groups. They need to learn skills like sharing, cooperating and helping each other. They will develop academically and socially in small group settings.

These items will really help facilitate small group instruction and center time.

They will help the children work with each other to complete a task. All of the items will be used during center and rotation time. The ice cream cart will go to the dramatic play center. The screens and puzzles will be used during rotations. The seating will be used in the reading room during center time.
