My Project

In my kindergarten class, students spend time in reading and math centers to work on skills they are learning. This is an independent learning time, and it has become a very important part of our day. Students are able to choose an activity that is at their level. There are many center activities to choose from, and they are organized into individual bins.

These hands-on center trays help to differentiate learning and meet students where they are.

This project is requested materials to help set up the centers so that they will be easier for students to use. If funded, students will be able to take an entire tray with them to their learning area. The tray contains everything they need to independently finish the center activity. After they are finished, they can return it back to the case that holds all the trays.

There are also several center activities and games included in this project. These games will add more variety to our center time, and students will be engaged in their learning. Center time is a critical part of our kindergarten day, and this project will help it be even more effective!
