I have the privilege of working at such an amazing school! Kindergarten is fast-paced and can be crazy, but the promise of getting to walk in to greet my wonderful class each day is what makes it completely worth it.
My students are my everything!
They honestly make me a better person. They teach me every day and remind me how fun learning can be. They keep me on my toes and always show me how important it is to leave room for fun and play in your life. They know when I am having a bad day and give me extra hugs to make it better. They tell me their jokes and all of their stories. They are simply the best and I don't know what I would do without them.
My Project
This project is to help boost our center supply! Centers are so important to young students. This time brings about so much interaction between students and they learn so much through this play. I tried to pick a wide variety of activities that cover things such as large and fine motor skills, phonemic awareness, social skills, math, science, and reading. Of course, I also wanted all of these activities to be fun as well!
Centers are a time when learning and play intertwine so nicely!
I know my students will love being able to examine and test in our science centers. They can create and design with so many different medias in our art center. Sounds come to life when playing with letters from a puzzle instead of just reading and tracing them.
