Help me give my students activities for small groups and centers! Giving the students various activities and games gives them another way to enhance their learning.
My students are some of the funniest kids I know. They always make me laugh and smile. Whether or not it's at a story they are telling or a joke they are making.
These kids are some of the most resilient kids I have ever met and that's what pushes me through the downs of teaching.
These kids have gone through more at such a young age then I could ever even imagine, but that doesn't stop them from doing the best they can do. They come to class everyday ready to learn. Some days are harder than others, but they always push through and try not to let it stop them.
My Project
Students are more likely to remember their learning and have it last longer when they are able to complete a hands on activity. Being able to give my students practical and engaging activities to practice their learning will help them in the long run.
With students having been learning at home the past year, they have been missing the physical aspect of using manipulatives and playing games with other students.
Being able to interact with other students will help the students with their independence in their own learning by using other students as resources rather than just myself.
Some of the games will be used for centers to give them an opportunity to practice the skill in a smaller group. Some of the activities, like bingo will be used as either a whole class or small group as a review activity.
