Help me give my students a hands-on visual of plant and animal cells so they can better visualize the microscopic world of life!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Mercer's classroom raised $486

My Project
I teach science to approximately 140 6th grade students in a Title I school. My goal is to create enthusiasm in all of my students for the world around them. I believe in lots of hands-on, real-world learning, with as many visuals as possible.
My students will be using these models to learn about the organelles in Eukaryotic cells.
It is their first introduction to cells, so my goal is always to establish a solid base of background knowledge so that in 7th and 8th grade they can go deeper in their understanding. I know that these models would really improve their base of knowledge.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
