Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students have been learning about the sun, moon, and stars. Students will use the paint, modeling clay, and pipe cleaners to create 3D versions of the celestial bodies they have been studying. All of my students are learning English as a second language and having the ability to create more interactive learning sessions will assist them in building their language proficiency and build bridges of understanding through multiple means of engaging with the content. Students will invite family members to the school to see their creations once everyone has had a chance to complete them.
