Remember how excited you were to graduate. For many of us, it is a time of celebration, friends, families, and parties. Imagine though if you went to the ceremony and then nothing. No recognition, nothing. For some of our students, this is their reality.
Every Kid deserves to celebrate their graduation.
This is why I get together a celebration for our most at-risk students with special needs. It breaks my heart to think of one of them going home after graduation to nothing. That is why we throw a celebration for them here at school. Full of decorations, food, and things to make them feel special. I need your help making this happen. Many of my students are Hispanic. I want to let them celebrate with Pinatas. With your help, we can get them and make this celebration truly memorable. Please help us give these students with special needs a celebration worthy of them.
