Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have a classroom full of wonderful and amazing children. Our class consists of multi-level learners. They are a diverse group of kids ranging from English Language Learners to Special Education children. Our school is a Title 1 school and the majority of my students come from low-income families. Most students live in single parent homes and have a very stressful living situation.
These students love running and playing with their friends outside during recess.
We enjoy seeing these kids happy and forgetting about their worries they may have at home, even if it is for a short amount of time.
My Project
These materials will make a difference in my student's learning and improving their school lives by allowing them to celebrate all of their great effort's during the school year.
This celebration will let the children see that hard work really does pay off.
With these materials we hope to celebrate by allowing them to have a huge activitiy party outside. The celebration theme is hawaiian. This celebration will encourage kids to keep working hard and to never give up. The different activities are mainly activities that will require the students to work together as a team while promoting healthy exercises. We will have a color run, relay race, sack race and many more different activities.
